NUTRITION FOR FERTILITY<\/strong>\r\nThree months before the expected mating date,\r\nthe ration should have a high nutrient content but moderate energy value. \r\nAdditional doses of St. Hippolyt \u00ae Beta-Carotene Mare-Y-Mix, trace elements (MicroVital \u00ae) and nucleotides (High Performer) improve the ability to conceive. \r\nAfter successful employment, care must be taken to provide a micronutrient-rich but energy-adequate diet.\r\nAt the beginning of the last third of pregnancy it is advisable to switch to Equilac \u00ae broodmare feed.\r\n<\/span><\/pre>\n
Composition of \"Equilac Muesli\":<\/strong>\r\nBarley flakes (fermented), corn flakes (fermented), turnip greens, fruit fibers (apple\/grapes),\r\nchopped alfalfa, oilseed mixture and finely chopped cake (linseed, sunflower seed, of black cumin, fennel seeds) 4%, \r\ncorn germ, oat bran, whole oat flakes, hydrothermally digested soya flakes*, chopped grass dried in hot air, barley germ, \r\naromatic herbs (peppermint , thyme, rosemary, nettle, chamomile, coriander) 2.3%, wheat bran, \r\ncold-pressed oil blend (linseed, sunflower, corn germ oil) 2%, beetroot fibre, calcium carbonate (maritime and mineral), \r\nbrewer's yeast, sainfoin, rice bran, salt, magnesium phosphate\/oxide, pea flake flour, carrots, vinegar\r\n malt yeast wort.\r\n\r\n<\/span><\/pre>\n
Application \"Equilac Muesli\"<\/strong>\r\nAs a supplement to the basic daily ration of feed with roughage and\/or pasture grass, \r\nwe recommend slowly replacing the previous amount of cradle feed with Equilac \u00ae starting from the eighth month of pregnancy.\r\n\r\n9-11 Month of pregnancy: approximately 400-500 g per 100 kg of body weight per day. \r\nThis total quantity should be offered divided into several rations. For heavy or lightly fed horses, increase or decrease the ration by approximately 10-15%. \r\nIf necessary, oats can also be administered. For special breeds, ponies and good feed converters, it is recommended to feed Equilac \u00ae as a single feeder feed.\r\n\r\n1st-3rd month of breastfeeding: increase Equilac \u00ae up to 600 g per 100 kg of body weight per day, as the highest milk production is expected around the 2nd month of breastfeeding.\r\n\r\nFrom the 5th month of breastfeeding: gradually reduce Equilac \u00ae.
