Sainfoin is ideal for supplementing the rations of metabolically sensitive horses that require essential amino acid supplementation, 
due to its low sugar and starch content.
GlyxWiese organic sainfoin cobs are also ideal for sport and leisure horses, as well as for older horses that are difficult to feed. ®
Sainfoin is often recommended for horses that suffer from recurrent intestinal disorders such as flatulence or diarrhea due to its plant-based tannins.
The astringent effect of tannins on the intestinal mucosa can make it difficult for pathogenic bacteria to adhere, thus promoting a healthy intestinal microbiome.

APPLICATION:
As a supplement to the basic feed ration of roughage and/or pasture grass,
approximately 50-250 g per 100 kg of body weight per day are recommended.
For a need-based mineralization, we recommend SemperMin® or MicroVital®.

Soak 1 kg of ® GlyxWiese organic sainfoin cobs in 1.5-3 litres of water. Use
a maximum of 2 kg (dry weight) per meal: always soak to be safe!
